Who we are

Astra Platforms (“Astra”, “we”, “us”) is a creative development studio. We are the data controller for the personal information described on this page. For any question about this policy, or to exercise any of the rights listed below, write to info@astra-platforms.com.

What we collect

We only collect what you choose to send us. When you submit the project form on this site we receive:

• Your name — so we know who we are replying to.
• Your email address — the channel we use to answer you.
• Your company — optional, and only used to understand context.
• The subject of your request — so it reaches the right person on our side.
• Your message — the content you wrote.
• Technical metadata — the date and time of the submission, and coarse information about the browser used, kept for security and anti-abuse purposes.

We do not ask for, and do not want, special category data: no health, biometric, political, religious or financial information. Please do not include it in your message.

Why we use it

Your data is processed for three purposes only:

• To answer your request. This is our legitimate interest in responding to a person who has deliberately contacted us, and the necessary step before entering a contract.
• To keep a record of the conversation, so that a later message from you can be understood in context.
• To protect the service from spam and automated abuse.

We do not use your message to build advertising profiles, and we never sell personal data.

Consent

The project form asks you to confirm that you agree to this policy before it can be submitted. That consent covers our use of your contact details to reply to you. You can withdraw it at any time by emailing us; withdrawing it does not affect the lawfulness of processing that already happened.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not turn into a project are deleted within 24 months. If we do start working together, the correspondence becomes part of the project record and is retained for as long as the business relationship lasts, plus the period required by applicable accounting and tax rules.

Who else sees it

Access is limited to the Astra team members who need it to answer you. We rely on a small number of service providers — email hosting, cloud infrastructure and error monitoring — who process data on our instructions under written agreements. We do not disclose your data to anyone else unless we are legally required to.

Where it is stored

Our infrastructure is hosted in the European Union and the United Kingdom. Where a provider transfers data outside those regions, the transfer relies on an adequacy decision or on Standard Contractual Clauses together with additional technical safeguards.

Cookies and analytics

This website does not use advertising cookies and does not embed third-party trackers. Fonts, images and scripts are served from our own infrastructure, with the exception of the animation library loaded from a public CDN, which receives only the standard request metadata every web request carries. If we later add analytics, it will be a privacy-preserving, cookie-free solution and this page will be updated before it goes live.

Security

Traffic to this site is encrypted in transit. Submissions are stored in access-controlled systems with authentication required for every account that can read them. No system is perfect; if a breach ever affected your data, we would notify you and the relevant authority within the legally required window.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Have inaccurate data corrected.
• Have your data deleted when we no longer need it.
• Object to, or ask us to restrict, a particular use.
• Receive your data in a portable, machine-readable format.
• Complain to your local data protection authority.

Write to info@astra-platforms.com and we will respond within 30 days. We may ask one question to confirm that the request is genuinely yours.

Children

This website is intended for professional enquiries and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the revised version appears on this page with a new date at the top. Material changes affecting how we use data you already sent us will be communicated by email where we have an address for you.
