This notice explains what information Astra Studio collects through this website, why we use it and the choices available to you.

Privacy policy
Overview Information we collect How we use information Sharing & transfers Retention & security Your rights Contact us

1. Overview

Astra Studio (“Astra”, “we”, “us” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, share and protect personal information when you visit this website, contact us, or otherwise communicate with us through the services available here.

This notice applies to this public website and its contact form. It does not replace the privacy terms in a separate written agreement between Astra and a client, supplier or employee.

2. Information we collect

We collect only the information that is reasonably needed to operate the website, respond to enquiries and protect our systems. Depending on how you interact with us, this can include:

  • Contact and project information — your name, work email, company name, budget range and the contents of a message you submit through our contact form.
  • Correspondence — information you provide when you email us or continue a conversation about a potential or active project.
  • Technical and security information — limited log data such as IP address, browser type, device details, referring pages, timestamps and error information that may be generated by our hosting or security providers.
  • Cookies essential to the site — where required for security or session management. We do not currently use the public website to serve behavioural advertising or sell personal information.

3. How we use information

We may use personal information to respond to a request, assess whether Astra is a suitable partner for a project, prepare a proposal, communicate about our services, maintain and improve the website, detect misuse or security issues, and meet legal or record-keeping obligations.

Where applicable, our legal basis for processing may be your consent, steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, performance of a contract, compliance with a legal obligation, or our legitimate interests in operating a secure and effective studio. We balance those interests against your rights and expectations.

4. Sharing and international transfers

We do not sell personal information. We may share information with carefully selected service providers that support website hosting, security, email, professional advice or business operations, but only where they need it to provide their services to us and are subject to appropriate confidentiality and security obligations.

Personal information may be processed in countries other than the one where you live. Where a transfer is required, we take reasonable steps to use safeguards appropriate to the applicable data-protection requirements.

5. Retention and security

We keep enquiry records only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this notice, including reasonable follow-up and record-keeping needs. As a general practice, unused prospective-client enquiries should not be kept longer than 24 months unless a longer period is required to establish, exercise or defend legal claims, comply with law, or continue an active business relationship.

We use reasonable organisational and technical measures designed to protect information against unauthorised access, loss, alteration or disclosure. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so please avoid sending highly sensitive information through the contact form.

6. Your rights and choices

Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have rights to request access to personal information, correct inaccurate information, request deletion, restrict or object to certain processing, withdraw consent, or receive a portable copy of information you provided to us. You may also have the right to complain to the relevant data-protection authority.

To make a request, email hello@astra.dev. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.

7. Children and third-party links

This website is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The website may link to third-party services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own notices, not this Policy.

8. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy when our website, services or legal obligations change. The “Last updated” date above identifies the latest version. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
